Description | St. John Ambulance - a non-denominational, not-for-profit volunteer organization - is heavily involved in Emergency Preparedness and Response. Over time, climate change will have a significant impact on Natural Disasters. This Team supports the work conducted by St. John Ambulance by contributing computing power to the ClimatePrediction.net project. To be a member of this Team, one needs only to commit a portion of their BOINC involvement to the Climate Predication project. This Team was founded by the British Columbia Council of St. John Ambulance located in Canada. Members from all backgrounds and geographic locations are welcome to join us in Emergency Preparedness and Response activities - especially this exciting climate change research project. Welcome! Dave Frank, Director - Marketing and Public Relations, St. John Ambulance - British Columbia, Canada, [email protected] |
