If you want to run it, you could run it through Wine. I haven't tried it on Ubuntu 24.04, but it did work correctly with Ubuntu 25.04.

I'd run this project more if there was a Linux app.

Useful information, thanks. Have a Ryzen 3700 16 core upstairs that could do with some exercise !
Would much prefer to avoid the Wine solution , but can easily down the Ubuntu version you have tried.

Usual rubbish failed to change to directory " /var/lib/boinc-client " permission denied.
Been here many times. Using cmod and chown gets it working after a fashion ,
then it tells me " No work units available " which is rubbish .
