since several month I'm running Ramanujan Machine New Key. But since a few days no computer is getting more work.
De / installation doesn't help.
All systems are running opensuse Linux.
What is going wrong?

They introduced a new version of "LIReC using BOINC instead of AWS (beta test)" on the 28th (and another version in the early hours of today). It would seem they also took the opportunity to delete the Linux app under "Ramanujan Machine New Key" at the same time on the 28th. Only the beta "blind delta algorithm" has a Linux app now.

I haven't mentioned it to them as the last time they 'fixed things' in April they wiped out over ten thousand (probably a lot more) pending validation tasks that users had completed but got no credit for. I have been waiting for my pending tasks to reduce as much as possible before telling them.

Of course they could have chosen to no longer offer a Linux app for their main project but not tell anyone.
Windows can still get work.

I didn't notice the change, just read your post and went to see the Applications page. That's unfortunate... it happens right after I spent two weeks setting up Linux to migrate two pc's... both were running tasks just fine.

Maybe someone can give some details on why such change was made. Thanks.

As I am currently just Linux, I may not get to my 5,000,000 point target (or higher) as there is no more Linux work available (there is a Linux app on blind delta algorithm but no work available).

My computers will not starve as there is plenty of other projects I can get work from, I am reducing my resource share as well to see if I get any thing from the project in the future.

Bit of a lack of warning but it is their project I suppose.

I have emailed one of the scientists directly regarding the lack of a Linux application. We will see if he is still active with the project and willing to help.
